yes , i usually use manual settings , the shutter was 1/50 sec , the ISO i think was 100

the photo is great i <3 it , but i dont understand how u took it. Im assuming its not photoshopped but that would mean u were actually moving the camera that fast?

usually i use continious shoot mode in photographing sport events , which means hundreds of photos for each event
you will have good results as well as bad results , then you have to choose the best results
of course it needs some of practising

it has nothing to do with photoshop

also try to search about panning photography , you will find many useful articles in the net
