Dear Future Husband,I'm not THAT bad at cooking...I rarely burn things and I follow instructions correct..forthemostpart.
but I'm not that good at cutting or chopping vegetables...the only thing I can do is make fattening desserts! >O....*flails* Idk..I'm not really good house wife yet XD I haven't gone through super ninja wife cooking training yet ^^ but I plan on trying to learn new recipes.
But I'm just not that good yet XD and I don't really enjoy cooking unless I cook for someone else...and I don't do that often so...
For YOUR sake, dearest husband, I pray that you're a good cook XD haha.
But in all seriousness, I would try my best to cook for you. I would put on my womanly charms and make it with love, even if it was burnt or crusty, It had all of my love in it!! XD you better believe it! -Your Future Wife 5/25/12

Chopping veggies? Not really that hard. You don't have to be some super fast chopper. It's best to take your time with it.
I've cooked a shoulder roast seasoned with garlic and seasoning salt, then added potato and carrots to that.
Something simpler would just involve meatballs, cream of mushroom or cream of chicken(Or both, if you wish), water, and egg noodles. It just gets so tender.........................
Still, I'm sure you'll get good at cooking! And I'm sure your husband will enjoy everything you put in front of him!

Well, the meatball one is SUPER EASY. All you need is a slow-cooker, like a Crockpot. It pretty much takes care of itself. Just add water occasionally to the slow-cooker, depending on how tender the meat you wish it be, as well as the consistency of the sauce.

My roomie is a very good cook, and you'll be surprised how many guys that have lived by themselves for any length of time, are actually pretty good cooks. It's really an issue of survivalibity and well it's how dudes win chicks.
