"Only a few seconds left..." Mykabur repeated to himself. He was hiding in a trench, ready to attack.

Though the war signal had not been fired yet, he was already clenching his gun with shaky wrists. His blood boiled from the thought of glorious combat.

Just as he lost control of his excitement, the signal fired. Ecstatic adrenaline shot through his body as he leapt out of the trench and onto the great mountain, ready to unleash firepower onto his foe.

Unfortunately, just before he could take aim, a beam of pure energy silenced his joy.
