FROM THE FILES OF COLONEL COURTNEY:

Jesse has been in service to the Army as long as I have, the only difference between he and I is Jesse has remained out in the field. Numerous times the man has passed up promotions. He says he wants to remain out in the battle instead of behind the lines, not wanting to be the one to give orders which could result in the deaths of the troops if he himself isn't out there taking the risk himself. I've got a lot of respect for the man do to those under his command. He ended up with the nickname "Iron Balls" because the man fears nothing and he will push his men hard to get the job done.

Jesse is an old war horse who has seen so much action since the great war and then some. While his age is beginning to catch up with him, Jesse still has what it takes out on the field and his experience is second to none. The time will come when Jesse will have to stop, but I know that when it comes to that, the man would rather it happen out in battle.
