Hmm more like 80% AK and 20% AR15.
I do see why you'd say that, though. Thanks!

I like the weapons you made, shame there not in video games that would be pretty good.

It would be pretty cool if some of these FPS people look on deviantart and see your weapons instead of just making their own ones, it would be good seeing some of your weapons on CoD AW2

I don't think my weapons are futuristic enough for AW, but they most certainly would fit in BO2/3!

I'm sorry, but I just can't get over that flash hider/compensator thing! It's pure sexiness on the end of the barrel!

A very good job, Shockwave. I'm not sure what my favorite aspect is, but if I had to pick, it'd be that wicked awesome flash hider.

Overall a very attractive design. The selector switch is pretty innovative, although I'm not sure how it would work mechanically. The barrel is too high to align with the ejection port, but that's a minor issue. I don't see a bolt catch, but adding one similar to the G36 bolt catch would be easy.
The double gas system seems interesting. I'm guessing the top gas tube is the default one, but the bottom port can be opened up to engage a Garand-style operating rod for more force? So you'll have low recoil normally, but if you're in a frozen or exceptionally dirty environment, you can turn the gas adjustment knob to engage the operating rod, accepting some higher recoil in order to ensure reliability. I'm not sure if that's the way you envisioned it, but it would make sense.
I definitely like the night sights. The muzzle brake is also pretty cool.

First off, I'm very grateful for the feedback you just gave me. It doesn't happen a lot actually.
Anyway, I'll answer your questions.
First things first; the fire selector. I didn't have much room because of the indent for the stock bar, so I had to go with something compact. I'm not too familiar with trigger- and fire selector mechanisms, so I don't know how it would work internally. I suppose it's something I should look into some time.
I have to be honest, I completely forgot the bolt catch, thanks for noticing that. I won't forget it from now on!
I have to say, I like your thoughts about the double gas tubes. However, the top tube is actually just a barrel cleaning rod. I hope this doesn't disappoint you a bit?
The adjustment knob is there to regulate the amount of gas passing through the gas tube to the bolt. The idea behind that was to have the ability to adjust the rate of fire to the user's preference.
Again, thank you very much for your kind words and feedback. I really appreciate it.
