Description Facing an increasing shortage of TIE Delta and TIE Omicron craft from losses sustained at the hands of Great Galactic Republic forces, and the growing reliance on outdated craft such as the TIE Standard, the Dominion Remnant, with assistance by the Empire of the Hand, developed a new generation of TIE-series fighter that could tackle the Republic’s latest designs such as the X-Wing Ultra and the ETA-10 interceptor. The TIE Supreme Fighter (also known as the “Spider” by its pilots) is faster and more maneuverable than previous designs, boasting more accurate and powerful weaponry, ray-shielding, and even a hyperdrive to carry out long-range patrols and missions requiring hit and fade tactics.

Very interesting idea, especially an improvement in terms of the wings on the sides. They are significantly smaller than the original TIE/lf design, which is a improvement, though while the cockpit seems to have more of a field of view, it is still a complete blindspot on most angles and I am not sure if the pilot has been moved further forward there.
The weaponry and the shielding as well as the Hyperdrive are good improvements too, though I must admit that the idea of just Ray-Shielding is pretty bad considering that this is a rather big weakspot that could be exploited by adding a simple autocannon onto an X-Wing's nose. Not to mention missiles being a thing and all.
Further the ship's size and bulk make it a rather poor choice for a dogfighter, or in general for a starfighter engaging other starfighters. While the bulk means that the extra systems are more realistic, since the standard TIE hull is way too small for anything good to be added in, this also means that it trades a huge sideways profile for a equally huge, if not bigger, upside/downside profile.
I know that this isn't your own design but a render by you, but I wanted to point this all out.
I also assume for the moment that the craft has Life Support, which is a fundamental flaw in most TIE variants, and perhaps that hatch at the top could be used with a ejector seat? I am not sure but it would be increasing pilot survivability.
Naturally that isn't in line with the Tarkin Doctrine because pilots are worthless compared to huge, intimidating starships, even if the need for better starfighters is so great in this case it seems.

Final verdict: Great visuals, good data and great improvement over the standard design variants of the line. Definitely better than the TIE/fo from the sequels in both design and originality, the latter goes to the original designer by the way.

When I saw this - my jaw dropped!

I was more than impressed, I was stunned as a mullet!!

Adam's rendition of my design is superbly done here but made more - it is gorgeous, sumptuous, and emphasize the deadly nature of the design e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>

What the legendary a.deviantart.net/avatars/s/h/s… " alt=" " title="Shoguneagle" /> has done here, has made the vessel more; like true aficionados of the franchise, he knows good ideas, he knows that things should be improved, and this, this! I such a thing.

The fact that he has made it part of his universe and made this a lethal and devastation opponent, is an honor.

Like I said with a.deviantart.net/avatars/a/d/a… " alt=" " title="AdamKop" /> this ship says "be with me and we will win, stand against me and you will lose".

Look at it, it's fantastic!!

I am both honoured and happy - YAY!!! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/>

Thank you sir!! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/>

It's hard to turn away something so original, and yet familiar to us all. Like the X-Wing Ultra, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to include it into the Father and Son of the Suns setting. It just feels right. It belongs in the forefront of Star Wars fandom, and I felt this was the best way to do it. Adam really did your design justice, and I'm grateful to both of you in further expanding the setting and watching it grow day by day.

Sir, I am very honoured for you to take her under your wing.

I be honest, I was so pissed off with the T-70; it is a re-hash of an old Ralph McQuarrie design of the first X-Wing.

I expected something a lot better, with the vast wealth Disney has and the ideas that since have existed; it angers me to the core, when people don't try or don't care.

I have had a lot of interest with this one sir, so I must have hit a nerve with lots of people doing this; I am pleased that you have taken this humble scribble and put it into your better vision of Star Wars.

Glad to be of service

I didn't mind the appearance of the T-70 so much, but the fact that the New Republic/Resistance was so badly nerfed in the new trilogy makes little sense. I'm not even convinced that we'll see any new designs in Episode IX, let alone copies/knock-offs of Ralph's designs.

But whatever. Your stuff deserved a place in all this, whether it's fan-work or not.

I didn't per se - what angered me, is that this is thirty years later.

The T-70 was done out of laziness, fear, 'hey, it's Ralph's...I dunno.

What I expect to see are new designs and ideas; I dunno about you but what attracted me to Wars, are the ships and technology; I did my T-89 as what I would like to have seen in the new films - new ideas, new concepts and so forth; The Sith Infiltrator, is one of my favourite ships, yet it gets ten seconds of airtime.

I wanted to see new designs, innovative ideas and such. However, the business wanted quadruple the money they bought Wars for, so played it safe - understandable but....

Thank you sir for your kind words - I just follow my passions and wants

It's almost like you took the aft end of a Broadsword (from the Wing Commander series) and turned it around and added TIE Bomber wings and some later series cockpit.  Fitting since both the Broadsword and TIE/SF are jump capable... both are quite bulky but a significant threat with the right pilot at the stick.

Hey, you've made some quite amazing starship/starfighter designs. I couldn't resist adding this one to the list, as it has the perfect profile and features to bring to the future Father and Son of the Suns setting. You should be proud, and I'm happy that this one did your work justice.

Sir, I am very honoured and humbled by your reasoning to do this - I just like to see ideas; for you to do this on one of my own designs, it means a lot; it confirms a conviction to do things good, right and as best one can.

Thank you very much for your great words - they mean a lot to me I mean that

Compact, sturdy and deadly, just the sort of design that a declining Dominion Remnant would turn to.  I like how the Supreme enjoys greater visibility with those side and rear windows while still retaining that familiar Tie cockpit template.  My one concern would be the small solar panels, though I'd wager there's a more efficient power plant in the hull than previous Tie models (not to mention larger panels getting in the way of said visibility).

isn't Sienar Systems Engineering the same group that provides the First Order weapons and vehicles?

Sienar-Jaemus Fleet Systems, which was a subsidiary to skirt the issue of illegal warship sales to them (I still don't understand how that works in canon). This manufacturer applies specifically to my infinities setting, Father and Son of the Suns.
