I didn't know you could identify a fake piece of art from Redd until recently. I always just bought whatever he was selling JUST IN CASE and Blathers either took it or humiliated me. Boy gosh do I wish you could return counterfeits to that rotten fox in this manner, though.

Hehe nice comic, love the expressions, and yeah I get annoyed by Redd's fake paintings/sculptures to. (Especially, sense I'm trying to fill my museum.)

Yeah I love that site! It's sad because I took art history classes and was tested on identifying most if not all of the art Redd sells but most of the time I need to go to that guide for reference

I love how now he doesn't even give you the art in person so there's nothing you can do about it the following day when it's delivered in the mail, real or fake

Awww, that second panel is just so fitting of Blathers. Look at his adoration of the arts while the player character just absorbs all of the blind praise. Amazing.

I didn't know there WERE fakes. I just didn't buy much from Redd because he charges a lot. Of course, the tradeoff is that I had very few paintings for the museum.

There is a website wikia that you can identify the paintings before you buy them but you can tell the difference like that statue that has the disc which is real between the fake one that that has a UFO he is holding.
