;__;I finally got myself to watch the Death Note anime..I haven't been in a hurry since I've already read the manga and all..but, somehow..even though I really liked the series already, it really hit me this time.
I listened the OST music a lot while drawing this..I must say that I love the music, too
but blah, maybe I should've drawn something..simpler..at first x'D Like L eating cake haha! But skulls/crosses/etc are compulsory when it comes to DN fanart..

Your colouration is amazing. Especially, I love how you have drawn the skulls and his hair. Furthermore, it is so great that L looks back. I love the cruxes.

I do love the backround, but the arm + shoulder + neck ratio is seriously messed up, that's a more of a view from the side of the arm rather than from the back. It's great that you polish your pictures so much (looking at the jewellery and his hair) but you should concentrate on the figure before going for the pretty-factor ;;

Hm, any idea what I should've done then? :0 I know, it's risky to try using a pose when you're not sure how it should be drawn right >.> but yeah, I know you're right..but I really feel like I can't help it at the moment. I'm learning at my own pace and even if it's a slow way of learning, I'm sure I'll someday know how things should be done.

Any chance you could draw from live nude models? That's tons of help, for instance. Otherwise you should just observe and draw loads and loads of fullbodies. Not saying that you're in a hurry or anything, everyone learns at their own pace.
And it's not risky at all, you learn from drawing it whether it turns out correct or not.

Live nude models would be awesome, really..But of course we have no chances for that here...I'm really hoping to attend some nude drawing classes in the future though (I'm sure they're arranging some in the cities anyway).
Hmm.. I think that you inspired me now to do some research and try to practise again. I haven't done that for a long while..
