Traditional art huh?I just wanted to test my inking skills for change, because it's been some time since I last used them..My skills are getting rusty xD I also need to learn to use liquid ink better and also vary the line weight even more...But I really love inks!
I've also decided that when I'm drawing a comic I'll surely ink it by hand >.> Inking with computer makes me nuts.
Nevermind the telescopes XD They should be more detailed and everything but whatever.
Ah yeah, this is my original character, Rephet. Too bad he is rather generic looking, but it's really hard to change your old characters..and I guess I like him being like that, too

Sakura Micron 0.2 & indian ink, stars added with photoshop. A4 paper. oh and the pose is slightly referenced.

Generic looking - BAH. I like Rephet. Loving his outfit by the way. The inking style reminds me of one frm like, a surreal comic book. This is such a cool idea.

This is a really beautiful piece! The shading and detail on both Rephet and the one large telescope are beautifully done. You must have a lot of patience to ink all of this by hand!

Haha yeah, the lines of the telescopes might be a bit wonky too, since I didn't use a ruler at all xD But when you really have the patience to draw something really detailed, it's going to look great!
