Description This is the biggest board I have finished to date. It is a 11x14 scrathboard colored with ampersand inks and took me 3 days to finish. It does not fit my scanner so I had to take a photo. Sorry for the poor quality of the photo. It looks much much more better in real life.

My son was telling me the other day that I drew the leaf very small. It is not very visible.

Looks about right from the ref. I guess you could've embellished to enlarge it some, but, I like it the way it is.

Beautiful, it is obvious you poured a lot of time and effort into this piece. The eyes, once again, are my favorite part. They look moist and alive, and the serene expression with the light casting on the left gives this such a calm and maternal feel. I love how you only used the brown on the nose and horns. This gives it the calm feel of a black and white photo, due to the larger amounts of greytone vs: color. The detailing on the fur is exquisite, especially considering the short coarse nature of a giraffe's fur. You truly bring this animal to life.
