Alternative title if there was a better picture of them using bard magic to alter drinks: "Bard magic, is there anything it can't do?"

Last year I was on the fence about them since while they were Eda's old date mate, they did break up with her. This year I'm pretty sure we're supposed to like them, but they're still not one of my favorite characters...mainly because I like the ones I like more.

At first it looked like Raine was under mind control from Terra Snapdragon, but later on through flashbacks of how they met Eda, we learned that they used bard magic to change the chemical composition of the tea so that it didn't mind control them.

Considering how sound vibrations can shatter anything if tuned to the right frequency, I'm willing to buy this. I've also seen "The Legend of Vox Machina" so I know that bard magic can also do "Scanlan's Hand". Not sure how but with DnD logic anything goes.

They then merged their rebel cell with Darius's to really stick it to Belos, but still didn't want Eda involved to protect her, but she barged in anyway so then they formed the C.A.T.s which was three rebel cells strong. You could argue that they ultimately succeeded since Luz and King were part of Eda's cell, Hunter might have been with Darius's, and Willow, Gus, and Amity kind of joined up after they combined into one (either that or Willow and Gus go to Darius through Hunter and Amity goes to Eda through Luz), but now they got a whole new boss to deal with.

Also, is it just me, or could they be related to Skara? I mean they got similar hair, similar skin tone, and they're both bard magic users. Maybe they're her Uncle/Aunt? If we get at least one brief scene at the end with them together, we'll know.
