Description
Another concept design for my characters... A female pirate this time, heh. I thought it could be fun to draw pirates sometimes even if I never got the opportunity to do so =_= . When finishing this pencil drawing, I remember she reminds me of Ruby Heart from the Marvel vs Capcom 2 game... Though, I wasn't a fan of this character, I now regret I can't play this game anymore to enjoy her =_= !!By the way, I'm quite busy these last weeks with many current projects... °_° Let me live a bit more!!!
Tool: mechanical pencil 0.3 mm.
Paper: A4 format (21*29,7 cm)

Now that's what I call a female pirate! She's very cool. Good job on the cross-hatching shading, it looks nice and clean. This would be an interesting piece to see coloured in.

Amazing detail indeed, however, personally, she feels more like a FF Red Mage than a Pirate....
Then again, Red Mages DO kinda ressemble Pirates, which renders this last bit rather useless and....well, I stop now.

O_O 0.3 mm??? What kinda lead do you use? 2H? 3H? I always seem to break the HB ones quite often, but never found any harder leads where I was.
But damn, coloured or not coloured, this sketch is nuts. Lots of nice detailing going on in the sword, her hair, the cape... Ahhh.....

Oh?! Heh, I use a HB lead in fact... That's right it breaks quite often but at the beginning. Indeed, as soon as you get used to it, it doesn't break anymore or very rarely... When you stressed out for example, lol!! Otherwise, thanks for the comment!! ^_^

This is really cool, I like the amount of detail in it and how its completely shaded in pencil. I wish I had the determination to do something so detailed myself.

Lol, don't worry about that... You'll be as good as mysel if you just keep practicing!! Everything will come evntually to those who are patient enough. Just keep in mind you're doing this for your own pleasure first.
