Didn't wanna say this but my Street- Fighting friend Anthony has forced my words.......here it goes....(takes a deep breath)........TERRY BOGARD CAN BEAT ANY FIGHTING CHARACTER.....ESPECIALLY BANDANA BOY (Ryu)!!
....There I said it!!
This conversation has been going on for years now between us on who is the better fighter...He keeps telling me that Ryu is this...He can do this...and that...and Bla Bla Bla...and I always tell him the one thing that shuts him up...
.......Terry Bogard beat a GOD!!!
that usually ends the conversation.
I had the same Conversation with my friend Fred Perry (of Gold Digger fame) @ a Convention in DC that made pretty good deal of sence...
Fred said (who was a Ryu fan(but I won't count that against Him)) that if it were a fight with no special moves involved (No Hadoukens or Power Waves) Ryu might have the advantage.
BUT..if it were a fight involving the Power Moves Terry would win Hands down.
Now the debate on who is the most powerful character in DragonBall is still up in the air...
..and soon I will draw out the MOST POWERFULL character in all of the DBZ series soon..

Of course Terry is awesome, he's the only one who could pass for a normal person in real life. look at him! all other characters dress like they belong in a game, he dresses like a person. (from the 90's of course)

everyone plays King OF Fighters for Terry Bogard. I mean Fatal Fury Started KOF I never like street fighter the story never made sense. I wish they would make more Fatal Fury's. I want to see where the story goes after "Mark of the Wolves"

Terry's hat varies sometimes. In the beggining, (First Fatal Fury's AND the early KOF's) Terry did have the Fatal Fury on his hat. But a few years later, it was replaced with that metal plating. So I suppose Sho' was going for Terry's later original design.

Oh Hellz yeah! Terry Bogard (and the rest of the King of Fighters cast) can kick the crap out of Street Fighter any day of the week... twice on Sunday. The ONLY reason that didnt happen is because SNK went out of business (too many other crappy titles. Sure SNK had some good ones, but Capcom has a higher percentage of good ones).
Still, Terry Bogard is, hands down, the greatest fighting game character ever created. Second, in my opinion, would be Athena Asamiya XD

I have to admit Ron, I'm a huge SNK fan, Capcom has some great stuff too. But I know Terry would totally whoop Ryu's @$$ in a fight. I mean Ryu's got a Hudukain (or what its called), but Terry has more moves than Ryu sh*%, but all Terry has to do is wait for the right timing, and BAM!! A burning nuckle and crack shot to the face and Ryu's down.

It bugs me when people use DIFFERENT ANIME SERIES as benchmarks for who would win in a fight, since different series with different directors are going to operate on different power levels. If Terry were in the same series as Ryu, they'd probably be close enough to be rivals, because of the nature of their characters.
(I'd also question whether an anime series that got its source material wrong should be used in arguments like this anyway)
If they were in the same series as DBZ, Goku would be a head above both of them, because in that series, the Saiyans are just universally more powerful then humans are capable of getting. They'd be top-tier as humans go, though.
Either way, Terry's a more interesting -character- than Ryu, IMPO.

I told ROn about Alex supposingly beating Gill, which we know he's a god, and Alex then in turn got his ass got handed to him by Ryu. SO basically Ryu whipped the ass of a man who beat a god. So that clearly says that Ryu would beat the gay ass chucks off of Terry. LMAO!!! Ryu is still the man!

Well let me bring this up...If you want to be technical KOF is a "all star" game. So with that being said alot of the Terry fanboys seem to have forgotten about "versus" Ryu. I will not say anymore. LOL!!!

We all know Ryu is the man and owns Terry hard. Terry can't be the man if Kyo knocked him out of the spotlight. Terry is just a "filler" character. Ryu would pwn him, eat some chicken, pwn him again, and make him give up his bomber jacket. LMAO!!!!

I'm sorry to say, but... (in my opinion) that Ryu sucks. just look at his moves for example, ryu hasn't changed much since SF2, and all he has goin for him is Evil Ryu and Dinjin hadouken
also Ryu dosn't have much of a story as he just walks away in alot of his endings.
now Terry on the other hand Changes ALOT (including his outfit) Terry's moves looking back to the first Fatal fury all the way to Mark of the wolves and King of Fighters Raising tackle, Crack shoot (AKA Kick back), Power stream, buster wolf, Power Drive
Story wise? Where to begin??? Geese? Andy? Joe? Billy? South town?

damn this is friggin sweet n even though i am street fighter fan i am starting to like the KOF series alot more and i do have to agree with you here. Terry is alot better than Ryu by alot of things. As for one, Terry has a story and pretty cool story and Ryu's story is kinda getting lame. But if they were to fight, it would be a very very close match but i would have to put my money on Terry Bogard

With your art style, you were pretty much meant to draw Terry. It fits perfectly.
Assuming you actually mean the strongest character in DBZ history, I'd say SSJ4 Gogeta, even though he's from GT. But if you mean strictly DBZ, then Kid Buu would be my guess.
