1923My piece for the upcoming Message in a Bottle exhibit at the Light Grey Art Lab , opening January 25th in Minneapolis! Β Looks like it's going to be a killer show. I would talk about the piece some more, but the whole point of this show is SECRETS on top of SECRETS

This piece is absolutely fantastic : even the hieroglyphs are more pleasing that the ones in the standard Unicode fonts ! I should desperately like to know what is says... but if "the whole point [..] is secrets." Nevertheless, great work

The composition on this is so beautifully simple, I specially love the how the passage of time is given in the deterioration of the building's contours. Thank you for the eye candy.

Oh wow, that style is gorgeous. I love the colours you've used they work together so well. And the accents seem so well balanced. I must say I have a soft spot for stylised Egyptian pieces. I think that may be down to the movie 'The Mummy' which I loved. Awesome scene, wonderfully balanced.

this is simply marvellous; the juxtaposition is just lovely, as is the angular style, which is very fitting with the setting!

I am absolutely in love with the fact that the backgrounds of the two changes depending on the time frame as well. Β With the left having the pillar shattered and the hole in the wall where you cana see the sky and the "BC" Egyptian's building is intact as it would have been at the time.
Amazing concept and so complete, yet so simple. Β I just love finding works like this where, despite the simplicity, there is always something new that catches my eye every time I look at the image.

i speak arabic, and i can read arabic, but i have no clue what that means.

The only Arabic on the poster is what he's saying, "This is important"- everything else is various forms of Egyptian.

i reread it and now i understand
"hatha muhim" its only hard on my to understand which way to pronounce it with out those extra lines on top or below. Arabic vowels i believe.Β

This is beautifully designed, so intricate and stylized! I think the trailing smoke of the cigarette and her incense is such a nice touch and the contrast of this piece is gloriously reflected by that stunning sunset. The similar hues of gold stand out so much and I really like how the pattern of her attire match to his striped pants and that their hair is detailed by lines. There are so many conjoining factors that make this image so impressive!

I love Arabic inspired works, but I hardly ever see them! Most everyone does French or Japanese (not that there's anything wrong with that). I love this piece. The colors are cooling yet subtly warm and the off-symmetry of the piece is appealing to the eye. Wonderful!
