Description
The internet is rightfully up in arms about Harley's new costume for the DC reboot [link] , so I did my own pass at a modernized, "grittier" Harley. I've always felt that much of Harley's appeal comes from her quirkiness and overly cartoonish techniques, so reducing her to a viciously psychopathic, scantily-clad villain just seems like a cheap shot- especially since she's nigh unrecognizable.I'll probably play around with this design later, but I'm rather fond of the idea of a punkier Harley in skinny jeans and a tank top... I don't really have a reason for the aviator cap and jacket beyond "I wear these things and like them."

I love the idea of her being a biker chick, but i feel like the costume they gave her was a weak attempt at making her stronger. This is more like what they should have gone with!

Harley's original outfit will always be #1. DC needs to stop changing it and just keep Harley the way we all love her! Anyway, much better design than Jim Lee's.
