Ok so Sherlock and John from BBC Sherlock, made of felt, buttons, sewing thread (duh), polyester fiber-fill and recycled jean material (for John's jeans).
Shapes based of a pattern by ~misscoffee who is awesome and totally deserves your love and adoration. She's Canadian too!

I'm sitting in my chair for twenty minutes and trying to imagine how did you do it? How you do absolutely recognizable dolls? Have you got a pattern?

Haha I do have a pattern that I've been using for my newer dolls, but that just gives me a base shape and templates for pants and shirts.
The toughest part is the hair, and that's what truly makes them recognizable I guess
I spend a lot of time getting the template for the hair just right for every character, because the hair is really what pulls the entire thing together with the right outfit.
But yeah, a lot of time spend looking at pictures and screencaps

um well, there wasn't really a pattern for that old one? it's based off someone else's pattern so I wouldn't be comfortable giving it to you.
My new ones are made using my own pattern, and they're slightly bigger than those ones.
And I haven't decided yet if, when I open my etsy shop in May once I'm done school, if I'll be selling patterns as well, so I'd rather not just give it out, sorry.
(I spent too long on the hair to feel like giving it away for free, sorry)

In my opinion, Sherlock's defined by his hair, scarf, or coat. So spending so much time on the hair was worth it, especially with the amazing way it turned out!
Haha, if you're going to put magnets, how about placing them in the position of the other photo of the Sherlock and John plushie you took - in Sherlock's hand and John's back pocket! XP Thats a much more satisfying position! XD

Welp, I've watched every episode (including the original pilot) at least 3 or 4 times each :I and every time I notice new details (not necessarily plot-relevant ones, just general details about the awesomeness of the show) that just make me love it even more :3

Actually so far I've managed to get a decent amount of my friends, both of my sisters, one of my sister's friends and both my parents to watch it and they've all enjoyed it
Funny story though: my friend ~Michmech and I often act like Sherlock and John -ish around each other ever since we did a couple of cosplays at them (I'm tall John lol) and who knows how strange we sound to those who don't know
