Waves that is. It got half of my shoes wet. *^#@&!!The sea water was a bit cold as it just stop raining like around two hour earlier.
By the way, look at the middle rock. It sure resemble a face.

Thanks Beverly!. But it almost turn into a disaster. I was too engrossed to get that "keeper" shot. It was actually much darker than what is seen in the photo. I was quite far away from the only entry / exit point of this stretch of the beach. Behind me is a very steep sea wall which is impossible to climb up and to safety if something unexpected happened. It was about 7 pm and it was kinda dark. And to make things worst, I realized that the tide is rising. The photo doesn't looked like it but I have to wade through slightly above knee deep of sea water back to the entry /exit point which was like about 800 meters away. Imagine having to wade through that with the darkness approaching fast and all alone?. Yeah, it creep me out. And this place is claimed to be haunted or so the old folks claimed. People claimed to see headless ghost of japanese soldiers marching somewhere around this area. But to date I've never encounter one. I don't believed in ghost though. But still it gave me the creeps. So yeah, some bits and pieces of behind the scene during the taking of this photo.

LOL. It was something I will never want to experienced again. Yeah...ghost. Even a skeptic who don't believe in ghost can get creep out.

Yeah. But most times, I just couldn't care less whenever I went home late at night. There's quite a number of abandoned residential buildings over here. It's dark and quite and look foreboding. A brisk walk past those buildings won't harm either.

You can say that again!. The entire of Singapore used to be a battlefield during the second world war. So, you'll be hearing a lot of scary stories in most part of the Island. And a lot of the residential estates were build on former cemeteries. So...yeah.

Why I wear shoes?. To protect my toes and feet from the sharp rocks and broken glass. Yeah, some people just have pea brains and throw glass bottles around there. Usually I go bare footed, but not yesterday as that part of the beach are full of tiny sharp rocks and a few glass lying around.
