HOLY CRUD, SHOOTINGSTAR, ANOTHER MANGA COVER? SERIOUSLY GET CREATIVE!! *shot*
Well, originally I was planning to do a manga page.. like a collaborative move by Garnet and Amethyst here but I wanted to go for something colorful
I wanted to make it extra special for a great friend like her! Same way I did for *lovelychu ^.^It's not a real series but I kinda liked the idea for a Pokemon Manga dedicated to coordinators
You have no idea how much I love Roserade and Bellossom here ;w; they look so cute! It's another first for me so I'm really proud! The background was a little hard to decide. I had this finished and lying around for days and only came up with a good background just now.
So eh, enjoy buddies. Hope ya'll like it!

I know, they are ^^. Kayla was annoyed cuz Jasmine left her on accident, and Sammi (her shortened name) kept on annoying her. Contest battle, Sammi gets ripped apart. Kayla just tells her, "You need to practice more", and she took it offensively. Their rivalry is so heated, a catfight can break out instantly

What kind of brush do you use, what size, any special
stats for it?

Hmmm I've already forgotten the specifics, but I'm very particular with tablet sensitivity so I first have to make sure that my tablet is good. Brush size depends on your canvas size. I usually work with 2000+ pixels in 300dpi so my lineart looks smoother. I forgot what SAI calls it, but my minimum diameter usually isn't dragged all the way down... something around 50% of my brush size if I recall correctly!

OMG, this.... This is EXTREMELY EPIC. How much fitting could it be, a contest picture with Pokémon OCs in a contest? XDD
But waaaah, this is just as awesome as your other contest entry... It's amazing how you can switch styles from one drawing to another, and it still amazes me how perfectly you can make all of them <3 Everything is SO perfect! Haley looks incredibly beautiful, I LOVED how you made her hair here, and that red dress is really fancy and matches her very much *__* The other girl is adorable too, you did her hair pretty well and her blue dress looks cute and with soft colors.... :3 The shading here in simply wonderful, I know I say this EVERY FREAKING TIME, but I'm drooling at every little detail of it...
You also made Bellosom and Roserade great, they're adorable! x3 I really liked the effect of the light around them and the colored petals over everything... *o* KYAAAAAAA~
