Hey, good work here Mayu. You draw colors well kahit hindi scanned, saka di halatang liquid paper yung mga white areas ni Dark Magician Girl ah. I couldn't tell the difference. Nice.
Too bad, I don't have my own scanner as well, I also take pictures of my drawings with my camera.
May scanner ka na ba? If you still don't have one, share kita ng techniques ko sa pagpicture ng drawings - closeup, if you don't mind.
DSC-H7 pala pinagkuhanan niyan, mas advanced pala model mo kaysa sakin, DSC-S750 lang gamit ko. Heehee.
Lighting, angle, alignment, and resolution.
Have some good lighting, ako kasi maliit lang kwarto ko, ang nagpipicture ako sa ibabaw ng doubledecker ko para mas malapit sa ilaw. With good lighting, maeeliminate yung unwanted shadows and noises that usually accompany drawings taken from cameras. Be as near as possible to the light. And you need the flash para mapotentiate yung effect ng ilaw, but if it's colored, low flash setting would be fine to retain the colors. The camera, based on my experience, should be around 8-10 inches to 10-12 inches above the drawings, that way maiiwasan yung washout from the flash. Kung medyo washed out ang resulta, raise the camera higher as necessary, but you have to use the zoom now to get better quality. The zoom should not exceed the x3.0 setting.
Angle, make it straight and true. Although it requires a bit of good hands to get this correctly, minsan way off ang mga kuha sa digicam.
Alignment, take the picture as squarely as possible, whether portrait or landscape pa yan.
And lastly, always choose higher resolutions, para hindi smudgy kahit i-resize. ^^
*For closeup takes, it's better to have the lines very dark. I use sign pens, pero mas maganda ata plain ballpen kase hindi glossy, pag sign pen or marker kase, yung lines medyo may shade of navy blue.
If done correctly, you're going to love the results, parang scanned drawing na rin ang dating. Lawl.
Here's a link as well, hope it helps: [link]

Langanuman.^^ Okay lang yun. One of my best pals in college kase, si , photography naman ang forte, nagkataon ding malupit din magdrawing - I saw his array of drawings and sketches, very simple but striking, lagi ko kasing katabi eh ang hilig magscribble - nursing school = boredom, boredom = art. So I kind of observed his techniques and workaround with the camera, medyo dinagdagan ko lang ng sarili kong style so that it'll suit my needs.
If you'll be trying my advice and it did work, no need to thank me, you're very welcome, I'm glad nakatulong ako. If not, well, you just have to give it a little touch of your style. deviantArtists experiment on better ways, tama?
