This little guy was so cute! I took this series of photos just as I was leaving the local park after a long morning of taking photos. I'm calling him William - he's a Willie Wagtail (Rhipidura leucophrys), he was catching bugs about 2m away from me.

I didn't have the right lens on my camera, so I very very slowly changed the lens, hoping he wouldn't fly away and took a photo. The camera makes a beep when it focuses, and I think William (that's his name... ) was very curious about the sound.

We spent about 10 minutes together, and I took over a hundred photos.. he got closer and closer and closer to me, and I went from standing, to eventually lying on my stomach in the grass, trying to get a really interesting perspective shot. Eventually he came too close for the camera to be able to focus on him, and after a little while without the camera 'chirping' at him, he lost interest and flew away.
