This is so awesome and Victorian-like (I am a huge sucker for that kind of thing). I want her jacket for my very own. I also really dig the watercolor-like coloring style. (ASS PATTING! THIS IS WHAT THIS SITE DOES TO ME, LOOK AT ME PAT YOUR ASS oh boy that has to be awkward)

It's uncommon for me to covet the belongings of characters drawn on paper... but I will have those shoes.

It's such a natural pose, too... well done!

dude are you guys going to be coming out to SDCC?!! Because that would be awesome!

Me and james moved to seattle with a bunch of other artist duders, so I won't going to any of the east coast cons for a while booo...

Love the use of muted grays and warm colors. Adds a slight creepy vibe to it. Almost grave-like. I've just started toying with color markers trying to get the hang of it myself. Just out of curiosity, how many different marker shades were used here? And you you ever use a blender?

thanks james!

I used a lot of colors for this, but its kind of not obvious... There was one strong red and a bunch of muted yellows and reds (no blue reds) I blended them with the Copic Tone Grey #1

The greys were pretty simple. It was a Tria Cool Grey #1 all over and then I used a Tone Grey #1 Copic marker on the clothing. The darker greys were mostly a Tria Cool Grey #4 and and a Copic Cool Grey #6

Man I suck with blenders I can't figure them out.. I kind of just use the to blend the color in. Man I dont know how to explain that without sounding retarded
