Sorry I couldn't do something better or more extravagant- I forgot how to shade fur this afternoon for some reason, so it all looks really airbrushed, sorry
I hope I can go back and edit in some better shading.But I did spend a while on the background. I wanted to make it myself, so I drew some colours and a 'spacey' look, and then I used these textures:

To get an even better spacey look.
I usually would've done it myself using photoshop, but I don't have that program on this computer yet. Besides, I really like this result anyway~
Anyway, I LOVE Kay's design omg. It's so simple yet awesome. And after reading her likes/dislikes, I saw that she liked astronomy, so hey! She's in space!
Also Kay, I think you're one of the loveliest people on this website, and you deserve a gift! I hope you like it!

And I really like white outline on character, it makes really nice light effect!
And yes, your style and anatomy looks amazing, I really love the way you did lines, it looks pretty and smooth owo And I see nothing wrong with shading here, your soft shading looks really neat, I also like color of shading(I don't sure but it's probably something greyish purple or blue ~), i love use similar colors myself :'D
