I finally did the finishing touches!! *yay* I had the girl all colored a couple weeks ago.. so I added a backround.. even thought its kinda plain, I'm actually very happy with the result!!!
I don't really have much more to say about this one.. soo.. I hope you all enjoy it!

I uh.. I'm not very good at explaining things.. but I'll try--
Fiiirst. Color the base color. In my case, I used the brown right below the shine. Not the dark brown, the lighter brown. Then darken the parts of the hair-- like in my case I darkened the top of her head and near the ends of her hair. And since I wanted the light to be coming from the top left of her head, I made the shadows on the right of the strands of her hair.... Then the lighting.. I uh.. I really don't think you can understand anything I'm saying... so I'm gonna note you and see if my idea will help you.

you're welcome ^^ Open canvas? I've tried Oekaki...and I was OK with it. I need to use those more to get used to them. A drawing pad for the computer couldn't hurt either but I am SO broke XD
