I'm starting to go crazy with watercolors, I kid you not xDanyways, this is what my Gaia avi looked like some time or another.. that's an O RLY hat xD And a 4-leaf clover hat xD And a random daisy xD I love the huge boots though.. x3
I'm superangry though because I used a cheap pen to outline it, then when I added the watercolor and stuff it got all stupid and smudgy ><;;;
eeeew. Plus proportions are off andyah.. Therefore, I might scrap soon.
Anyways. Done with watercolor, copics for skin colors, and a cheap ugly pen, in about.. less than an hour while my cousin was over xD

How many copics did you buy/how much did it cost? And what pen do you like to use? Recommend any?

at the time that I illustrated this one, I had 3 copics, each were about $5 each. I use to have 4 but one of them leaked in my bag

How much do Sakura Pigment Micron Pens cost? Do you know where to get them at? And this must be extremely obvious but what about Bic pens? Are they ink pens? (all I can find are ball point)
What copic colors did you have? I thought you could only buy them in a set of like 12, 48, etc.
Wouldn't the pencil smear when you color if you outlined it with pen after coloring though?

Bic pens are simply ball point pens xD They.. ahh.. look like this [link] <-- those can be found.. ANYWHERE xD
The micron pens are a bit expensive.. probably $4 or $5 each I think.. maybe less.. I don't remember. But you can find those at different art shops.. look around the pen area xD
For this drawing I had only skin tones. I bought them individually at an anime convention last year.. but if you go to their site they sell them individually as well. This year at the anime convention I bought a 72 set of copics though :]
The pencil smears, yes, but that's why you color very carefully xD Or you can just outline it very thinly with the waterproof pen.. then color it.. then outline it thicker with the bic pen. Just experiment =]

o_o yeah I was about to say "That wasn't the character you showed me the other day." I like this one better than your current one. I can actually see this character, and she's not buried in stuff xD I like her hand gesture xD She's going "Eeeeeey~" or something, like the Fonz xD The colors look very nice :3 The watercolors seem a lil rushed though... o.o And her left boot seems weird too...
