Description
THIS is an art assignment for school. It’s due tomorrow, and I FINISHED. MUAHAHAHAHAHA.Our assignment was to create an image of a dream me have had. I combined a lot of my dreams together, even though it doesn’t look it. >_> Everyone else in my class was doing a photo-manipulation. I find those boring to do, so, I’M BEING UNIQUE AND DID A PAINTING. Haha my teacher said none of her students has done one before. X’D (I wonder why?)
My main focus was to have a tornado in the pic… because roughly 70% of my dreams have tornados in them.
I also have had a few dreams about space/stars.. so that’s why there’s a corner of just that.
And Pierce is in there because I have had ONE dream with him in it (though he wasn’t flying).
I also wanted to put him in there because I felt it would be boring without a solid object in the pic.
I also tried to make it look like he just went through the swirling tube of air.
I’m rather happy with this. 83 I was SURE I’d rush through it… BUT I DIDN’T.
The original size is 8x10. HUGE. And now I have to print it off as well. >_<
I like the part underneath Pierce the most. <3 I’m really satisfied with that one part. XD <3
Oh, and in every art piece I do at this school it will include some sort of bat. Even though Pierce isn’t a bat, he works. SO HA. <3

This is an amazing piece; I love how otherworldly it looks with the stars in the corner and the wispy-ness of the tornado. I love how the character's zooming from it, as though having gone through it.

I really like the mood and such done with this, it's all so nice! I like how Pierce (right?) is flying out of the tornado like "ahhh I made it", and how it's all whoosh the wind, how you showed how the wind is kinda still with him YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN @_@;;
I at first thought it was made of charcoal xD;; In the thumbnail, it has so much texture, which is really cool.
Though what stands out not in the best way is the character because how he is outlined, it'd been better if you got rid of it, more specifically on the edges of his wings so that he'd fit better with the rest of the image.
If maybe you even fuzzied the edges of the wings a bit, because the line in which he is flying out of the tornado makes it look like he's going at high speeds, so it would be blurry, also enhances the feel of flying out more. <3
It totally looks like the tornado is destroying the world, and then there's nothing left but the stars... it's like, the calm after the storm. The eerie calm 'cause everything's dead and stuff >_> And how at night usually it's calm.. can be eerie, but it's calm. I've never been out in space before but it'd be quiet too hahahaa. xD;;

with the black outline, I just wanted him to pop out more, I guess... I'm not that comfortable without the lines yet. x'D I need to work on that.
