Description
Giba is a Japanese Yokai monster folklore in Aichi and Gifu Prefecture.

It is a small woman-like person wearing deep red cloth with gold hair ornament, riding on a little horse with iridescent color like a jewel beetle, and it attacks horses from sky.
Giba locks up the horses with arms and legs while they freak out, then it smiles at the horse and disappear. The horse will turn around clockwise for a few times and dies.
There are similar stories in Ibaraki and Shiga Prefecture.
A daughter who used to kill horses and peel skins for money, committed suicide because of discrimination against her. She turns into Giba and attacks horses.
