Description
Sake no Daisuke is a Japanese Yokai monster folklore in East Japan especially Tohoku area.
It is a kind of Salmon and recognised as the king of the river. Sake no Daisuke swims upstream from the sea with its wife Kosuke and shouts out "Salmon Daisuke and Kosuke, Here we come!" on 15th Nov or 20th Dec.
If anyone heard that shout, the person will die in 3 days. So that the locals stay inside the house and try not to hear anything by drinking and having party to make louder noise.
