When Alexa had said "I have the perfect pony for you", Remy hadn't thought that she was referring to... an actual pony.

14 hands of cuteness and a little sass - "Clover Field" was the sweetest thing he'd ever seen (excluding Noémi). She was of course different to all the horses he'd ridden before - but with the change of discipline, this was hardly a surprise. If he was entirely honest, Remy still wasn't convinced of the whole Reining thing. "C'mon, it will be fun", everybody had said. "Clover knows what to do, she's an absolute saint - you can even hold the reins with both hands if you want!"

But the one to convince him in the end was... his own wife, of course - arguably the person most excited about the whole thing. She was entering as well, but apart from her ambition to beat him in the class, she had other, more important motives for wanting him to join.

Just as he'd earnestly expressed his disinterest and crossed his arms to strengthen his stance, Georgia put a hand on his shoulder. "Please, do it for me," she whispered to him. "I need to see you in jeans."

Remy sighed. Who could reject a humble wish like that?

some ramblerino, btw this doesn't relate to what happens in their storyline at its current state of completion. just som fun.
obviously this is not a very competitive entry as the man is a total noob (look at him using both hands; adorable) - so i left out a detailed background because I liked it more like this. Really enjoyed drawing this piece; i'm using some new paper that I found work so well with polychromos, so if you have observed that my latest drawings look somewhat... weird and different and textury, that's why! I have opened my heart to more grainy paper, shocking. That's also why I didn't add pencil to detail afterwards, so if it looks less crisp or less detailed, that's because I wanted to keep the pure coloured pencil and the softness that comes from it, and not just take the pencil shortcut and hide messy colouring with lines added afterwards. xD
anyway a fun drawing for yalls enjoyment. Heavily relied on references which is my curse at the moment, so the free-handed Remy looks completely out of place and somewhat awkward, but c'est la vie.
ah yes, and btw; if yer wondering how i posess the audacity to do personal art while hcl sydney is still unjudged.. yea. sue me. it's honestly in the works, but for obvious reasons i don't want to force myself to do this sorta stuff anymore. it'll get done.
