Well it's FINALLY done! I have been working on this guy for a LONG time. I got so annoyed that I stopped for a while, with just one wing webbing to go haha. My bf has been bugging me to finish him forever, so now here he is. This is the first time I actually filled in the wings like that, instead of just making them a wire essence type of thing. This is a completely new design all together. I will be probably making another large one with red and black.He will be for sale at accent on nature in Ohio, unless someone on here wants to note me that they are possibly interested. He will be 300.00 because of all the little details. He is ooak, and about 18 inches long from nose to tail, and 6 inches high, unless put in a standing pose of course. He is fully poseable, and made completely out of jewelry wire.

Thank you so much! The wings were a pain in the ass! But, I am pleased with how they came out. At first my boyfriend didn't like them because the webbing has no symmetry its more impressionistic haha. He can't handle that lol.

haha, awww well thank you so much for the support! Someday I will be opening up to commisions online, so keep your eyes out, it may be a while until I get organized to do it, but I make small ones too that are much cheaper.

Thanks! Yea I like shiny things haha. I'm glad the colors came out, these are SOOO hard to photograph and get the real colors. It is pretty bright, so I'm glad you think so. I use wire as armatures too, just not the pretty colored wire haha. I have to be careful with posing sometimes because if its done TOO much of course it gets a bit bent and its a bit tricky to get it back the exact way, but a lot of times I use that for selling too. Many people wouldn't want to pose them themselves, and for instance with my unicorns I had one walking, one rearing, and one bucking. EVERYONE kept trying to flip back over the bucking one. They just didn't get it. So I changed to rearing and it sold haha.

Shiny is good! ^^ Yeah, it would be a pity to cover this nice colored wire with clay. Yes, on photos the colors of "whatever" materials look never the same as real... But on this photo they came out really nice!

Thanks so much, yea it IS hard to get the colores right, and I still can't figure out this stupid camera. I took some pics of some of my newer unicorns at the shop and they kept coming out blue.

I really do like this! i feel like you capture a sort of jewel-like essence of the dragon here. I would never have anywhere to put him, but I would certainly admire him if I saw him at a friend's house.
I like how you connected the wings, actually. I think the webbing is done really well, and I love the addition of the spikes at the "fingertips". Such a cool guy!

Thanks so much! Yea at first my boyfriend didn't like the wing webbing because he is a bit OCD and likes symmetry he can't understand essence and impressionism haha. I was pretty proud of how they came out, and the claws at the tips were a PAIN but I think worth it. I had some blisters after this guy hahaha. I have a really small wire dragon where the wings are the arms that I'll be posting soon, if I deem the pictures good enough, so keep your eyes peeled! In my wire sculpture folder there are also unicorns and other creatures if you want to check them out
