hey guys! I just realized that I never posted any of my sketches from my China trip this Summer, so I figured I'd post one.The trip I went on was actually pretty fast-paced, so I didn't get the chance to do much drawing, but this was the view from my hotel window in Beijing. It looked down over the Hutongs. There was a cat that kept crawling along over all the rooftops, and wires and cables were everywhere.

Seeing the differences, simply in architecture and the proximity of the buildings is a thing in itself. I wish I'd done more sketches when I was in Japan.
