Description If you stumbled upon this picture using the dA seach engine and looking for our common friend Locke Lamora you certainly are wondering "What a hell ..."

OK- this is part of my actual project Passing the Parlor Passage

I wanted to design some kind of magical/alchemical lantern. And this is the result of my first attempts.

You can download the Bryce-Object on sharecg.com - it's free to use.

"Red Seas under Red Skies", the "Poison Orchid" and the "Parlor Passage" are owned by Scott Lynch - not me.

Thanks - also for the - I'm glad you share my idea of it.
It really would be great to have one. Imagen the electricity supplier going nuts for not beeing able to earn money from you!

The Gentleman Bastard Sequence indeed is the best fantasy I've read during the last years. Did you know that Scott has an account here on dA?

Ooh, I like this; the lamp looks both stunning and mysterious. I think I'd definitely find this kind of lamp in some kind of Alchemical shop...perhaps in a certain elven wizard's shop ?
