Description
People may have noticed I don't have a lot of OCs (original Characters) of my own... the exact reason for which I am unsure.But that last work with the unicorn literally spurred my creativity, and I just came up with my first OC in, like, forever...
Here's Sara, the unicorn hybrid!
I still have to work out any details like personality and such, but the basic concept should look like this. I do see her as a bubbly, sporty-type kid...
I do have some research in my stuff about turning "My Little Pony" poneys into humanoid anthros, but the results were, to put it simply, rather unsatisfying.
For this one I simply plucked key elements of the unicorn and slapped them on an entirely humanoid frame. The pony's big problem was the face - though I've seen artists around here that were able to successfully make them as anthros.
So anyway, this is kind of different, but so far it's my best shot at a horse-like anthro! Don't she look adorable? :3

Yeah you sure do have a lot of OCs. I have a hard time managing the very few that I have. Specially with designing them. Takes a lot out of me. But you seem to be a good designer in making them all different.

Aarie is more or less mine, though I did design her look.
I've got three furries, Addie, Lilith and Zira - that I rarely use.
I've got Effix, and the twin sisters Foxy and Roxy.

Mais oui, l'idee vient en ligne directe de ton dessin. Il m'a tout simplement donné une soudaine inspiration!
PS: Aucune relation avec les licornes, mais est une de mes artistes préférés ici. Ces personnages sont adorables, elle a un talent fou (je suis atrocement jaloux de ses croquis), et elle est francaise. Peut etre que tu aimerais visiter sa gallerie.

Je suis allée reluquer du côté de la gallerie d'HikaruJen : tu as trop raison ! Ses personnages sont incontestablement empreints de toute la ''cutesse'' possible ( tu te souviens de ce mot qui est de toi ? 
( Accessoirement , je ne vois pas tout à fait pourquoi tu es envieux . Tes oeuvres sont à faire verdir de jalousie . On dirait bien qu'on est toujours jaloux de quelqu'un d'autre... De plus , tu es du type exagérément modeste

Cutesse, botesse, aforcedenfaireness, il y en a tout une serie, lol
Son style est directement issu des Anime japonais, genre Pokemon. C'est en partie ce qui m'impressionne - son style est pratiquement aussi bon que les professionnels, mais elle a aussi ses propres personnages fantastiques.
Memes ses brouillons ont une finesse de trait qui me laisse pantois...

Well... kinda hard to play with unicorn DNA to create a Neo, ya know... cause they like, don't exist! (or do they?)

Maybe on Yuriba they did? Perhaps she could have been human at one point, then fell into a "Legendary Spring of Drowned Unicorn?"

I like this- the one problem is I can't exactly put a finger on why, and I am used to having to know such things because of my background.
I DO know your reasoning is very sound about how you approached the design of the character, and it works well because you had a well-thought out approach knowing your style, and your strengths.
That is probably why this character is so fresh, original, and yes- cute, and pretty. (note that I deliberately avoided the word "sexy" like the plague here!
There's a story behind her, too. And I imagine I am not the only one curious about it!

No story so far to go with her... but the entire design process from inkling of idea to completion I'd say was a matter of hours, 4-5 I'd guess (and most of that being the picture itself)

The problem is mine, not the pics. I just can't tell you exactly why I like it so much.
The best guess I have is that everything works together very well, the harmony of the drawing and the composition of the individual all work out very well.
There are some things I can tell you why I like them instantly. Look up "Menehune marching Band" on YouTube and I can easily tell you why I like them a lot- the program is extremely sublime and to the point, and done at a wonderfully high level of quality.

Myself I usually go with my "gut feeling" whether if I like something or not. Very hard to come up with the "why" (then again, I don,t have all those years of judge training behind me, if ya know what I mean XD)

Well, creatures are usually very well equipped to survive with the natural parts of their bodies. So maybe Neo-unicorns are very good at "not wandering about with their heads down to bonk into a tree". XD

That's a pretty cute little OC you made. Her tail is really cute. To be honest, her ears do look a little off, but I'm sure that will improve with time. I can understand going with a more human face over the horse like one, it can be overly long and awkward to draw human expression on. Though she could have had some kind of hoof to add to her unicorn appearance, either horse or deer-like depending on how you like to draw unicorns, though I guess you wanted to let her wear shoes and stuff and not have her legs at weird angels.

Though i have a small critique for you.
I find her ears to be a bit high, and have an odd shape. horses have ears that greatly resemble cats, but in longer and more open. My horse's ears are VERY furry, I don't know which animal you base it on.
Anyhow, If you didn't want critique, please just disregard this.
