Description Okay. Drawing a wolf? Harder than it looks. Drawing a rider atop the wolf? A couple of notches on the difficulty level.

Trade with - his character Arrda Highshield, a swashbuckler/druid variant from his pirates of Zaldor D&D campaign. She's riding her faithful animal companion Stormcloud.

It's supposed to be a dire wolf, but he doesn't look so dire to me. I wanted too much of a close-up on the character, and maybe the scale went wrong somewhere. Well, it still fits somehow. And always had trouble with paws.

But I wanted to go with something a little more action-oriented, so mistakes are to be expected in greater number than normal.

The pommel of her sword is supposed to be a unicorn's head, but the detail is hard to see at that distance and angle.

Arrda Highshield and Stormcloud are property of Dinalfos5/Jeremy Sands

Nice "frame within a frame" effect. Could even be treated as a jump "through a window" effect...

With the larger picture size, I could add a frame all around. So now I have some space in case I happen to make a picture a little too big. (and it happens often)

In addition, I can do those little effects by altering which parts of the frame I actually draw. Possibly future pieces will have more elaborate frames, with diagonal cuts or with multiple smaller frames.

And why aren't you at work?

Oh, hey, you're done already. Wow, that's pretty good. You went with the harness and saddle however? I guess if you don't have an issue with it, then it's fine. See, as I recall now, I think the harness became a magic item, sort of non-armour-magic-armour, kind of like a magic vest or shirt instead for a wolf, instead of barding. The Bit and bridal might have been a bit much, but at least the thing over his chest served a purpose.
Arrda looks great, her hair is very nice, pretty too. She looks like she's enjoying her ride.
Stormcloud looks absolutely fierce though. Still great however. Thanks again, glad it could all work out.

I think the upper part of the wolf's front could be a bit longer, but I'm not exactly an expert on anatomy.

That's about... Hum... Let's see...

Yep. Second wolf ever. Even if you're good with anatomy, perspective is a tricky business at best.

Sorry, I meant to write "the wolf's front LEG". Must've had a brain fart. XP
