Name: Kaida

Allegiance: Sunspot

Ability: Her hands and feet morph so her fingertips and toes resemble those of a gecko. This allows her to stick to walls and ceilings and crawl on them.

Their Past: Kaida spent most of her life so far as an orphan in the city. She doesn’t have many memories of her family, only blurried images of her parents’ smiling faces. She doesn’t remember what happened to them and she prefers to keep it a mystery so she can never get her hopes up. As an orphan, Kaida grew up in a tough atmosphere of begging, stealing, and more to survive through the years with other orphans she would come across every so often. However the orphans were not the only ones fighting to survive on the streets.

When Kaida was around 8-9 (she isn’t sure of the actual age she was) she had come across a pack of wild dogs while she was foraging through garbage for something to eat. The pack had advanced on her and she gave up the little she found to save herself. The dogs devoured her food instantly and turned on her, seeing her as their next meal. The pack chased Kaida down the different alleyways, and quickly gained on her. One dog even managed to bite the back of her leg. Kaida made a wrong turn and found herself trapped in a dead end.

Kaida was stuck with no where to go, and the pack of dogs were advancing. Kaida began to cry as she saw her end coming, and watched a small gecko climb up the wall next to her. To her amazement she found her own hands and feet transforming into those similar to the gecko’s feet and she in turn climbed up the wall, escaping death.

Present: One day Kaida was being chased by a baker for stealing a loaf of bread, she took a wrong turn and found herself at the outskirts of the desert. With the baker still following her, Kaida kept going and found a tunnel. She ran into the tunnel in hopes to hide out there until the baker gave up. Suddenly a tall, pale man came up on her and in a fright, Kaida activated her +anima, crawled up the wall and onto the ceiling. The man was in fact Kodura, leader of the Sunspots, and he plucked her off the ceiling and took her further into the tunnels, making her part of the Sunspots.

Quirks/Extra Info:
-Kaida is a very nervous girl, but she quickly calms down as she gets to know people
-She has a phobia of dogs, and is very nervous around mammal +animas because of it. Her phobia also applies to dog (and dog-like) +animas, it’ll take a lot of coaxing for her to not run away from them.
-Has a scar from the dog attack on her right leg.
-Loves apples
-Is a runner, not a fighter
-She isn’t positive of her true age, but she thinks she is 12 right now, she just ups the age for every new years.
