And this is not Sword Art Online fan art. They are original characters owned by which was created long before SAO was out. They might look similar but they aren't.

Very nicely done! And hey even if they look similar to SAO or not, all that is important is that there is at least a 60% difference between characters from a different series. That's just the rule of thumb I stick with when designing characters. Sucks that your real life job is being stressful to you. I hope you have a way to relieve your stress~

then wouldn't it be hard to have an OC that's red and white, a girl with long hair And a guy who's all/mostly black, then have it refrenced off as SAO based on just these details?

Aww, they look so cute! I love the switched colors on them too like her being blonde with white and him with the black, yet both tied together with the red. That's a gorgeous combination. I love the cloud effect you've got going on in the background too. Beautiful job!

I did design them the exact way to described it. Both bound by blood (red) but from opposite ends: Purity and Chaos.
