This is my first offer to adopt character. She was originally made for a contest but I didn't get into the final. Since I don't need a new OC at the moment, so I'm opening this for everyone to offer me. I will choose the best offer.
You can offer the following:
cash payment in USD, points, free commissions etc....which is acceptable. Don't offer me any new characters/custom adopt because I don't need new characters at the moment.

my mom gave me her broken one and my (asshole of a father, more later) father fixed it.
now as to why he is an asshole. he kicked me out of his house for smoking a cigarette TWO weeks before my 18th birthday. that is a bit over the top i (and everyone else so far) thinks.

I'm not saying what he did was right, but you really shouldn't have been smoking in the first place. It was illegal.

so what i hear you saying is: being homeless is okay as long as you follow the law.
i can tell you for fact the cops didn't care that much about crap like that. several of my friends got caught with tobacco on and off school grounds both over and under age and all the cops did was take the tobacco products and said "don't do it again"
this may seem out of the blue, but think about your statement. what would you do if you had a child in the same position? would you kick them out? me personally i would not, i would tell them not in the house until they ARE 18 and keep in mind my 18th birthday was only a few weeks away.

No I'm saying if you followed the law he wouldn't have kicked you out and you wouldn't be homeless. Plus, it's his house and if he says no smoking then it's a rule you should follow. He is, after all, paying for the roof over your head and your meals. The least you could do is not smoke at home if he doesn't want you to.
And the cops are just doing their jobs. You're not aloud to smoke on school grounds or if your under 18. If you were in a place you can smoke and above the age of 18 then they shouldn't be taking your smokes and you can fight back against that. But smoking is so bad for you and so expensive I don't see why you'd even do it at all.
As for what I would do, if I had a child who was 17 and wanted to smoke, I would have them wait until they were 18 and I would tell them that the house is a smoke free zone. If they broke that rule I wouldn't kick them out of the house, but I would ground them or... something. And, when they DID turn 18, they can smoke all they want off of the property and they would pay for their health insurance and their cigarettes. I don't want my kid smoking and I don't want to have any smoke in my house, so I'm not paying for their smokes and I'm not paying for the increase of health insurance. Smoking decreases the value of the home and it puts people inside at risk of lung related diseases. SO I'd do what I could to get them to stop.
Again I'm not saying he should have kicked you out, I wouldn't have, but it's not all his fault. You're at fault to. A few weeks away doesn't matter, you were technically 17 at thus still breaking the law and I still don't see why you didn't just wait. I'd say the same to someone who was caught drinking a few weeks away from their 21st birthday. Just wait the two weeks and get drunk on your birthday. It won't kill you to wait.
