Nope. I understand exactly what they said, unfortunately you can't see the original comments because they had them hidden but they directly said that my stuff was too high. They asked for the price, which is at the bottom of the image. Each bee is $5. I told them if they wanted to get two bees it would be $10. Their response was, to quote them:
"No thanks, saw a bee adopt sheet almost spot on to this one for 100 points or less, 10$ for two small bees is steep."
Also, given I've not seen any rip off versions of these and I straight up only just started doing adoptables a week or two ago? I highly doubt someone is already stealing my stuff.Β To me that sounds more like "Your price isn't what I want so I'm going to claim someone else is doing it for cheaper."
It's possible that someone might be ripping me off, but given your friend provided no reference to said "almost spot on" sheet? I doubt it.
I'm going to guess that you came here because of their post on the their profile page which is amusing given they said my husband commenting was "white knighting" but straight up asked people to bother him and me after I blocked them.
I'm sorry your friend had to lie to you in order to get you to send a message to me, but I blocked them for a reason. I understand that you're being a good friend but if they continue to send people my way to deliver messages, it will be considered harassment and the usernames will be reported. I have a screencap of her original message telling folks to message my husband and me if they need evidence.

well there are these people called off branders or offbrans or offbranz and they basically stalk the newest section and copy closed species or designs they see then post adopts on their profile normally they don't copy but they do a lot nowadays because it's funny to them or something.
I think they were confused, maybe if you'd let them replye back themselves they'd have resolved things?
da mods don't ban for harassment like tat anymore just so you know, they stopped years ago. I have had some1 who ban evades and block evades me over and over for three years and da just tells you that its yer own fault for not blocking everyone but the block list only allows like 100 people at a time too so it can get bad

1) Okay, well if that happens it happens. I'd prefer someone show me evidence that that is happening with my adopts instead of going and buying them. Your friend made a choice to buy a rip off of another artist's work which honestly? Makes them look like a bad person.
2) No. I'm not letting them reply back. I blocked them for a reason.
3) Yes, the mods do ban for harassment still. I know that for a fact.

If you want to be respected as an artist, don't disrespect other artists and their prices. Don't expect your own commissions to be taken seriously if you think an artist's work should be a buck or less just because you can't manage your finances enough to afford it.
You might not be old enough to get out from under your parents wings yet or pay self-employment taxes for your commissions, but remember: Your electric company isn't going to accept 100 deviantart points as payment to keep your lights on.

Not really. Each of these is $5. That's extremely cheap compared to my usual prices and I'm getting sales because there are people that want them. It might be out of your price range but that doesn't make it expensive. That's also why I don't list them for points. Because points sort of devalue things. People see 100 points and think that's a lot but that $1. I don't do work for $1 because this is my day job.
