App for I absolutely love legend of korra, actually made this oc when it first came out but have revamped her for the group, I hope I get in!

Personality: Xia takes after her father, she is generally cheerful although has a stubborn streak a mile wide. Very compassionate, especially to animals. Loves to laugh, you make her laugh and you have a friend for life. Loyal. Proud. Determined. Always faces problems head on, their isn't a subtle bone on her body.

History:

Born in Ba Sing Se to her water bender mother and earth bender father, she inherited earth bending. She was born at sunrise so they named her Xia, meaning glow of the sunrise. She is a middle child with an older and younger sister, both water benders.
Her mother is very soft and patient and very traditional and proper. Her father is very laid back and cheerful, if a bit rough around the edges they make a very odd couple, almost complete opposites but they love each other very much.
She was a bit of a rough and tumble child, always following her father around as he did his work, trying to carry things for him and help out but always tripping and making a mess, which was always met with happy laughter and a hug from her father.
Not to mention the great amount of "pets" she used to bring home with her. Some of which were not ever suitable to be pets, but that never stopped her from leading them home.
One of her favourite things to do was listen to the pro bending with her father on the radio, picking teams with him and shouting in happiness if they won, groaning in disappear when they lost.
Xia discovered her bending at a young age, and was delighted. She would go around telling everyone she was going to be a Pro Bender, and spent countless hours practicing her bending.
When she was 7 her mother enrolled her in dancing classes with her older sister in the hopes of making her a bit more feminine. Surprisingly to everyone she took to it quite well, and after years became very skilled and flexible.
Her dream of becoming a pro bender never died and so when she turned 19 she left her home for Republic City in hopes of achieving her dream.
She has just arrived in the city and is living in a small, cheap inn. She dances on the sheet to earn money and is still looking for a pro bending team to join, or people to make one with.

RP sample:

Xia lifted her face to the sky, feeling the rays of the morning sun on her skin. She took a deep breath, planted a foot behind her, assumed her stance and exhaled. Leaning forward she stretched her arms above her head then down towards the earth at her feet. There was a hush around her as she swept her foot forwards, her other foot closely following in a quick step. She spun on the spot, arms winding around herself in fluid graceful motions, her feet swift as she moved in time to imaginary music. Her skirt whipped around her and her feet kicked up dust and dirt, which flowed around in a counter pattern to her dance. Suddenly she stopped the dust falling to the ground, her chest heaving and smiled up at the sky.

Additional Info:

Hates wearing shoes and will avoid it when she can
5'6 height
Very strong legs
Also very new to the city so she still gets lost.
Has never had a haircut, so her hair is super long
She is also a bit of a flirt
