And that brings this comic to an end. Thank you so much for your patience and support! I am so glad so many people have enjoyed this comic. I'll try to finally answers some of the comments I've gotten here, but even if I don't reply to yours, I've read them all and appericiate each and every one!

Yeah, I pretty much agree with that post! When I planned this comic, I still hadn't heard the narrator Chara theory. When I learned about it, I felt like it didn't really change that much about how I saw them in my comic. I considered making some changes to this final part after seeing more and more evidence for Chara's narration (since the narration still continues to the point when Frisk leaves the underground), but I felt like this was still the most powerful way to end it. We can just say that the remains of Chara's spirit held on until they saw Frisk make it outside?

Oh actually, that post I sent isn't updated. There's even more, including videos. Back then I still had some doubts, but now, not anymore. I know completely believe Chara's not a bad person and also the one who helped us save Asriel.

I kept holding on to read the Mercy page because I love this comic and it made me sympathize with Chara more as well as feel sad for both them and Asriel. This is a very beautiful page worth the wait.

I'm really glad that Chara was interpretted in this way. I'd like to believe they weren't 100% black and white evil (unless they are made that way through genocide or something).. After all the time they spent with Asriel, this just makes sense. The flashback scene was so cute and sad... This was perfect.

I tend to forget or underestimate how confused Chara and Asriel must have been, or how little they really understood about their situation.
It really hurts thinking about t.
On a less depressing note, this is lovely! Watercolors are so difficult to work with and you really did such a neato job with this!

This MERCY route is definitely unique and not at all what I expected. Instead of routes where everyone is happy and lives on the surface peacefully or where Chara is just an absolute demon who gets utterly defeated, this ending is realistic. It's heartwarming, happy, and yet sad, not to mention eye opening. This may not be the absolute happiest ending ever, but I would say this is the true TRUE ending. All in all, this is one of the best MERCY routes I have had the pleasure to read
