Star Wars, of course. This is a redo of my previous sketch of Luke and an older, Lightside Anakin. I decided I needed to get Anakin's features clearer and closer to what they actually should be. So I spent a little more time trying to get it right... And I'm adding in Obi-Wan. I'll update this work as I put in more work on it.EDIT 11/9/07: I really should finish this. Really. I will.

I like this picture, but for some reason your older Anakin....just seems a bit off. Of course, it is hard to picture Anakin, older and what not. So, I have to give you major props. But I think the beard might be overdoing it.

Oh right! Its really sweet. Anakins beards groovy, and that was quiute smart to have him and his son looking at some sort of gadget.

Love the atmospheric perspective you used here...I love the fact that you used it in REVERSE. Has a kind of simplistic charm rendering that I'd expect from realistic cartoons. I think the values are successful in the man in the middle. He sets up the whole piece. You focus on him and then your eyes slightly train away to the lighter lights and greys which means: great movement. Compositionally, I love the three-tiered effect. I think it works well. Of course, Obi-Wan needs to be rendered but I can only hope that he's the only hope. You can hear him now "Help me, ShrunkenJedi....you're my only hope to be rendered." LOL! Great stuff. You've got a nice style.

You know, I didn't even realize the reverse atmospheric perspective and the stronger tones in Anakin leading your eye! Thanks for pointing out something I didn't even realize about my own work. And yes, I know, I do need to render Obi-Wan, lol.

I'm sorry, and I'm probably wrong...but is that a mustache that Anakin's sporting? Or am I wrong?

No, you're not wrong, I gave Anakin a mustache when I aged him!

OH Really?!?! I was wondering if I was just seeing things or there was something wrong with my glasses. I've only seen (or technically read) that done once and it was in a fanfic. I was wondering what it'd be like to see Anakin with a mustache...lol. Good job.

I donβt like the fact that Anakin is so out of focus β it just makes this picture seem like I NEEDS to be seen from far away or that the focus is really on Obi-wan who is definitely the clearer of the three subjects.
Anakinβs face is somewhat scrunchedβ¦eyes are too small and too close to his nose. And with the current placement of his mouth he looks like he has a monster chin.
I donβt know who the second guy is β though Iβm assuming that heβs Luke? Not any Luke that I rememberβ¦
Nice job on Obi-wan btw.
Overall you may want to avoid smudging your work unless youβre willing to invest in doing a lot of detail work over top of your smudges.
