I envisioned this form a number of years ago, but only got around to modelling it and lighting it in the run up to my recent exhibition. The complex shadows were a pleasant surprise, so I've deliberately framed the image to emphasise them.Related content

Fantastic work!
I love how the form is harmoneous and infinate, it's beautiful, where you can't tell where it begins and where it ends. I also really like the pattern itself in it, intersting how it seems soft and hard at the same time.

Thank you. I'd been meaning to create this one for some years, but until recently I had nothing more than the sketch of a single face. It worked out better than I imagined.
At the moment it exists only as a 32"x20" photographic print of a computer generated image, but I like to imagine the sculpture would be about 50cm to a side, or perhaps a little larger.
