It began with a challenge.

"You can't break it if I can't!"

Which became a bet.

"Then I bet I can break it! You gotta' give me somethin' cool if I can!"

"And what if you can't?"

Ispooki pondered on that question for a bit, then smiled, tilting his head to get the hair out of his eyes.
"Then.. I'll cut my hair!"

The group of rowdy kits that were up far past their bedtime seemed amazed that the wager was so high. Ispooki? Cutting his hair? No way! He loved that punky style!

"Alright then! Deal! Prepare to cut your hair, Spiky!" the kit with the other end of the bet laughed, kicking the thick wood slab into the air, catching it with both paws.
"Five tries, just like what I got! I'll hold it here, nice and sturdy!"

Ispooki shrugged, "I bet I could do it in three goes!"

"Not a chance!"

"Three chances, actually," taking a few steps back, Ispooki lowered his head and ran at the wood slab, bonking right into it and back to the floor, shaking his head to clear the impact shock.
"Dang! That is tougher than I thought!"

"Backing out?"

"Nah, I still have two tries!" he laughed, rubbing his head a bit before getting more distance between them,,, then trying once again.

Same result, but this time getting a little crack in the middle of the board.

"Getting somewhere, but it isn't broken, Spikes!"

"I know, I know. Oh! I got an idea!" Ispooki grabbed the board and showed the other kit how to hold it. Flat and horizontal, rather than vertical.
"Watch and learn! I'm smarter than I look!"

As the other kits watched in anticipation, he lowered himself to the ground and sprung up, practically diving down and breaking the board while tumbling onto the other kit from the air.

"Get! Off! Of! Me!"

"But I broke it! See?" Once again full of laughter and giggles, Ispooki rolled off of his friend and stared at the sky, "now you owe me somethin' cool! Like a shiny gem or somethin'!"

"Pch, yeah, yeah, sure. I hate losing!"

"Waah waah!" Ispooki taunted, earning a playful punch to the shoulder in return.
