Hi my dear friends! New costumes and projects are coming, but I've also been happy to wear again this old but much beloved cosplay for a shooting with such a great photographer! Death is one of my favourite characters ever (and who doesn't like her?), and I'm always a bit nervous for the comparison, but wearing her clothes and her distinctive smile for a day is a wonderful feeling.

Thanks a lot. I am much less knowledgeable about manga/anime than Western comics/films; I knew Sailor Moon long time ago when it was popular, and some of the more 'male' of best-known stuff like Akira and GiTS.Β But I am sure the anime-related stuff in your gallery is just as good. What I liked best about your Death is the 'gothic' attire, because most people (in fan-art and possibly cosplaying, too) portray her in the simple black clothes (she sure looks like this in most stories, but in a few, like the great 'Song of Orpheus' she dresses far more luxurious). And you look very pretty yourself which does help ;]Β Apart from that, the drawings are also very good as far as I can tell (I can do a bit of drawing, but nothing like this).

Haven't read the comics, but did some research on Death, Dream/Morpheus and the other Endless. The comics' interpretation of Death is good and interesting, not some bony hooded thing (the traditional way), but a girl

Yes that's really intresting: the Endless' Death is a very, very nice girl with a lovely smile who just... does her job. She has so many wonderful moments in the comic, my favourite quote of hers being: "When the first living thing existed, I was there, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave."
If I've inspired you a little bit with this humble cosplay, I'm really happy! I hope that, if you'll ever read the comic, you will enjoy it!

Definitely a great quote that you chose, it gives the impression that Death is what she is β death itself, a phenomenon that existed since the birth of life in the universe or even the universe itself. But the second part seems like she's just doing her job and will call it a day when everything is done and there's no living being in the universe. Really an interesting character

Seems that Panini has published them in German www.paninishop.de/serie/comics⦠They're not shown in this page so I don't know if they've been translated, but there are also two self-conteined comics dealing exclusively with Death, "Death: The High Cost of Living" and "Death: The Time of your Life". They're fantastic, and a good way to start and see if you like the comic or not, since they're self-contained.
