Description This windmill was originally constructed in the year 1767 near the city of Tournai (Belgium). Since then, it has been renovated twice and moved several times until it reached its current resting place in Woluwe-Saint Lambert.

It looks so peaceful, like it is in the middle of nowhere, but I will tell you that not so far away there is a huge hospital complex and I'm certain you could walk from there to many other more urban places.

amazing view.. i like windmills, mine [link] [link] are not renovated unfortunately .. it's nice to write a short story and description about photo..

Thank you! I was happy to be able to find this information to share along with the photo. I think it is very interesting to know the story behind it. A lot of people went through a lot of trouble to preserve this one (unlike with yours, for example). It was even almost entirely destroyed by a fire once, and they made the effort to fix it again! I'm glad they did.
