I thought this would be a cool image with these two posters together. I currently have the 1984 Supergirl poster on the left in my home already. When I saw the promo picture for the current Supergirl TV series, I loved it and had this idea immediately to share ( put on my desktop). I already like the idea of having Helen Slater (first Supergirl) as Melissa Benoist's (current Supergirl) adoptive mother in the show with a bonus of having Dean Cain (TV Superman) as her adoptive father.
Pretty cool that both ladies are posing the same way with their "Supergirl" title below them.
