Finally I finished this after asking permission months ago to do it. I really really suck at shading but I did the best I could lol. Regardless of the crappy shading job I think it came out really nice. <3 If anyone wants to take the flat image and shade it please feel free and link me to it!

Hahaha when I first did the coloring, the flats were the same as the now BG. Thing was I didn't know the character was special to my friend and that it actually had a set color scheme. So what you see for the gem was actually part of the old eye coloring that I did LOL I didn't change anything to it just moved it down for the gem instead since it matched the gem from his character chart. XD
