Nothing like the good old comic book style, glad to see stuff like this.

Thanks. Yeah you know looking at it I kind of wish some comics now would go with simple stuff like this just for the nostalgia factor.

I agree. T_T As nice as the fancy stuff can be from time to time, I still enjoy cracking open an older comic. I've been reading The Swamp Thing by Alan Moore recently and it's been great.

I never actually read that one but it's Alan Moore it has to be good.

Ja, that's my outlook on Alan Moore. XD He's a brilliant writer. I highly recommend Swamp Thing, I've really been enjoying it. He took a mundane DC villain and gave him an elaborate backs tory.

Pretty good sketch there. And, yes, I miss the old color process that was in place before computer coloring. There's something to be said about how they managed to make it work with the limited selections available to them back in the day. I kind of wished that they didn't do away with that selection, and saved the SFX for special issues, but that's just me being from an older generation which grew up with halftone patterns on cheap newspaper stock.

You know what those comics still hold up. I mean don't get me wrong I love the bright colors and all the good stuff comics now have, but there's something special about them old comics. A timelessness about them that I don't know if younger generations will appreciate.

Great walloping of Ulik here! And I also agree with the coloring process, kinda miss those dulled-done shades!
