This has to be the one they use during the concert. If it is, you have no idea how many times it has received a standing ovation.

I play the flute and everyday for band warm ups I'll play 2-3 LoZ songs from Wind Waker. It was my favorite game growing up and this looks absolutely amazing. I'd like to have one, any idea how much?

I'd love to have one of these for my own if you're still selling them. Mainly just to have/mess around with but if I ever use one I'll be sure to send video of it in action!

That's absolutely fine Su Β

Β

I would like the baton wth the box (I know a place in the UK which makes custom-sized boxes; they've made a box for my other batons ), although without sound.

Β

I wasn't really looking for a baton that glows in thedark, but it sounds a cool idea, especially if the orchestra's in near darkness!! Β  Would be good for conducting Wagner's Flying Dutchman at Bayreuth!!

This is so beautiful! Really inspired me in making my own replica - probably won't be anywhere near this standard though!

Very nice work! I went to see the Zelda concert 2 weeks ago (Symphony of the Goddesses), and the conductor used one during the Wind Waker movement. I was so freaking jealous (And sadly, I can't seem to find any nice-looking replica for sale anywhere on the internet )

Thanks! There's a good possibility that you saw one of the wind wakers pictured above. I was at the Zelda in Los Angeles on June 12, and seeing Eimear conducting with the baton was just an amazing experience!

Thanks Theothersider. Everything is handmade except the boxes (unfinished maple), which had to be special ordered because I needed it at a specific LWH. It's very time-consuming to make these, and more expensive then one would guess. It takes 3 minutes make a cast of the baton, and maybe 30-40 minutes to paint it...but for a complete set, it takes a looong time.

You can view more pictures here. Maybe it can give you some ideas on how to make your own.

The baton in the picture is made with casting resin. The original was shaped using lightweight clay, which was then used to make a silicone mold.

Here's a video.
