I like to imagine that for the first couple of hours in purgatory Cas would still refuse to do anything so Dean'd just wander around hacking stuff up with Cas following him and going 'dean dean no stop it you're getting blood all over your jacket I won't clean it later'

also Cas just looks like John Winchester but since I don't really like cas very much in the first place i probably won't fix it oops

Dean: I friggin' hate purgatory.
Cas: Dean, you're getting blood everywhere. It's probably unsanitary.
