Cool piece, but I can't say it's my favourite.
Whilst the background may suit the actual idea of monotony itself, I feel as though you're trying to articulate something that's something to do with "a lack of life", and the background didn't reinforce that idea to me. Otherwise I like the rest of it.
Another thing on the background. Is it just me? Or is the background picture one of those "magic eye" things? Because I spent about 5 minutes staring at it and got no results except my eyes starting to get irritated.

Really cool work. It's not just a figure we see on top of that pile, it's something we can see ourselves in. It has character. Then there is the awesome composition and the suitable colours. I don't know much about vector art, but a lot of it seems cold and calculated. It's good to see some that is as expressive as this.

And yes, the other day i showed some of my vector work to the students at my uni. They all said that they're not vectors, because "vectors are meant to be clean and smooth". That's a stereotype that i would like to change.

Well, it's just, having nothing to look forward to, you know? You get bored, you start doing useless things and at a point you don't even know why you're doing it, then you ask, are you doing it or if something is making you do it? In this case, is he piling up the little boxes or are the little boxes piling him up?

Well, i never edit my work, mainly because i like to see a developement, if there is any and secondly because i'm lazy

Well, the advance crit is helpful for my "future" work
And, i use Illustrator for these, and then i save 'em as jpeg, then run photoshop to get to the correct size and frames and bla bla. Sometimes, i forget to save a file in Illustrator and only save the jpeg, therefore i lose all the layers. But yeh, it would be easy, but i'm just tooo lazy

i've got a piece of artwork in the making, its not cartoon like, but its of a like.. urm.. robotic angel.. thinking maybe an army of them, in some industrial scene.. or maybe just one solitary one, in the darkness, you'd have to see my sketches to understand, i'll probably upload them tomorrow or something for all of the word to see what comes out of my twisted little mind
